Why We Started This

Back in 2018, our founder watched her nephew graduate Year 12 with distinction in mathematics but zero understanding of how a credit card worked. He signed up for one at a festival booth because they offered a free t-shirt. Six months later, he owed $3,200.

That moment revealed a gap. Schools teach algebra but skip compound interest. They cover economics theory but ignore practical budgeting. Someone needed to fill that space with education that actually prepares teenagers for financial reality.

$
Our Approach

We believe financial education should mirror how teenagers actually learn and make decisions.

Real Scenarios, Not Textbooks

Every example comes from situations Sydney teenagers actually face. Saving for Splendour tickets. Understanding why Afterpay isn't free money. Calculating whether that casual job at Coles is worth the commute time.

Small Groups, Big Impact

We cap sessions at twelve students. This means actual conversation instead of one-way lecturing. The quiet teenager who would never raise their hand in class gets space to ask the question they've been too embarrassed to voice.

Judgement-Free Learning

Nobody gets laughed at for not knowing something. Many adults couldn't explain superannuation properly. We normalise financial confusion as a starting point, not a character flaw.

Take-Home Resources

Every student leaves with worksheets, calculator templates, and a reference guide. Parents get a summary so they can continue the conversation at home without feeling out of their depth.

Partnering with Sydney Schools

We work with public and private schools across Greater Sydney to deliver financial literacy as part of broader life skills programs. Sessions can run during school hours or as after-school enrichment.

Teachers appreciate that we handle the specialised content while they maintain the relationship with students. Principals value the measurable outcomes we provide through pre and post assessments.
